William “Todd” Arthur, DDS

William “Todd” Arthur, DDS

I am a true native of Roanoke Rapids. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993.

After completing my degree at Chapel Hill, I returned to the Roanoke Valley to be close to family and friends. I enjoy seeing familiar faces from the past, as well as, meeting new ones. I am proud to be serving the dental needs of this community where I hope to make a positive impact on those who trust me with their dental care. My wife, Wendy, and I have two children and we enjoy spending time at the lake, beach, and supporting the Tar Heels.

Eric Nicholson, DDS

Eric Nicholson, DDS

I graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2011. After graduation, I worked for several years in the Raleigh, NC area as an associate in private practice. I relocated to Louisville, KY in 2015 and served on faculty at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.

I am an examiner for the Council of Interstate Testing Agencies (CITA). My role for CITA is to evaluate and grade the work of other dentists who are seeking to become licensed in North Carolina and other states. I am also a member of the Nash-Edgecombe-Halifax Dental Society.

My favorite activity is spending time with family, especially my son. I also enjoy socializing with friends, exercising, playing guitar and piano, and traveling.

I enjoy being in Roanoke Rapids as it reminds me of the small town where I grew up. I provide high-quality dental care in a friendly environment, and I look forward to caring for the people of the Roanoke Valley.

Outside of the office I enjoy reading, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with my husband, two children, and dog.

Beth, Financial Coordinator

Financial Coordinator

As Financial Coordinator, I'm not always a favorite among the patients – at first. Although I work to ensure our doctors are reimbursed for the services they provide, I also strive to help each patient get the treatment they need and deserve while making sure they get the most out of any dental benefits and discuss a variety of payment options. Since 2004, I have loved working for such kind and gentle doctors! While working, I really enjoy talking with our wonderful patients, getting to know them, and being able to help them with whatever I can. When I am away from the office, I enjoy my time with my amazing husband and two boys!

Kim, Scheduling Coordinator

After being raised in Roanoke Rapids and graduating from RRHS in 1984, I decided to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. I attended Wayne Community College and graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1986. It was in 1997 that I joined this practice. Over the years, I have enjoyed my patients while maintaining a professional relationship with a personal touch. I also look forward to each new patient and the chance to provide them with the best dental care possible. My husband and I live in Roanoke Rapids and together we have four children and two grandchildren.

Melissa, RDH

I have been a part of this dental team since 2004. Dental hygiene became my profession of choice, so I attended Wayne Community College and obtained my degree in dental hygiene. Being able to work with the public, help them, and seeing the smiles on their faces is what makes my job so enjoyable. It is great being part of such a friendly atmosphere. I also enjoy helping out at church and I love spending time with my kids. My husband and I have 2 animated little boys and 1 darling little girl.

After graduating from Roanoke Rapids High School, I attended Wayne Community College for dental hygiene. In 2005, I became a part of the Arthur & Nicholson team. Every single day I enjoy coming to work because I simply love my job. Shopping every chance I get, going to the gym, my husband and 2 delightful and totally energetic children are also among my list of things I love!

Ladonna, RDH

As a dental hygienist since 1994, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Tarheels! As a member or the Haliwa Saponi Indian Tribe, I wanted to return close to home to work and be near my family and tribal community. Upon graduating, I began working with this awesome group of folks and have been here ever since. My employers, coworkers, and patients have become my extended family. I look forward to seeing them every day and giving back to my community. Health fairs, career days, free dental clinics and teaching dental health in the area schools allow me to do just that. I have 2 lovely daughters of my own and upon getting remarried in 2014, my family has grown so that I now have 5 beautiful daughters!

Ideal Atmosphere

Our patients love how clean and comfortable our office is. We know how much the environment of an office can add to your overall experience with us. Availability and Affordability

Your time is valuable--we know! We also know how hard it can be to fit a visit to the dentist into your schedule, so we make ourselves more available to you.
